BBAW: Final Day :(

BBAW_Celebrate_BooksWrite in 50 words or less…what do you like best about your blog right now and where would you like your blog to be a year from now?
My answers feel complicated and simplistic at the same time.  Obviously, being a new blogger, I have some goals that maybe a more experienced blogger already has down.  I’m not a computer wizard, by any means, and I’m definitely still navigating blogs in a beginners manner.  I want my blog to be more cohesive and for me to get the “general” hang of things.  So the technical aspect is important to me.

I’d also like to feel out the challenges a bit more and see what I can and can’t handle, which lends itself to the bigger picture: becoming more involved in the blogging community.  So far its been a great experience.  And although I didn’t know Dewie, I’m especially looking forward to the twenty-four hour read-a-thon next month.  I think it’s a wonderful way to meet and interact with other bloggers (much as BBAW is!).

Not get burned out.  So far I have a vast enthusiasm for blogging and I’d like to keep it that way.

And also to read at least this many books:1536941471_f26f3c4b12

I like averaging about two books and book reviews a week, so at that pace I’ll have read just over that amount of books in a year’s time.

Ok, now spill it.  What are your goals?

  1. I want people to join my book discussion forum. Here is mine

  2. My goal for next year is 100. This year I stuck with 75, and will eke by. I too am still learning to navigate reading blogs. This is my first reading blog, but it has been fun.

  3. The Read-a-thon is such a fantastic experience. Definitely a great way to get more involved in the community!

If you think you’ll get burned out, just take a break for a while. It really does work.

  4. Our goal are pretty similar, but I’d be happy with around 50 books. I’d like to review one book and one short story a week.

  5. I did the 24 hour reading challenge last fall and had a blast. It’s so much fun, you do get a little tired, though so get light reads, short stories, YA or children’s books. Also a great way to meet bloggers!

  6. I just wanted to drop by and say “thanks” for reading my blog and leaving comments. I’m glad to get to know your blog now, too!
